BeSafer
How we help
You will be assigned one of the team to work with you in a way that is appropriate to your age and need, with the focus always being on your safety and well-being. We will work at your pace. The service is confidential within specific limitations and these are explained to you.
If you are a student in the UK and need help, visit womensaid.org for telephone numbers in your area.
You can email us through our site on askbe@safer.gg or you can call 01481 721999. You can also talk to a trusted adult who could then make contact.

Confidentiality
You can speak to someone at Safer in confidence and we won’t tell other people what you have said. We only might need to say or do something if:
- You ask us to.
- We believe that your life or someone else’s life is in danger.
- You are being hurt by someone in a position of trust, who is able to hurt other children.
- You tell us you are seriously hurting other people.
- You tell us about another child who is being hurt and is not able to tell someone or understand what is happening to them.
- We are told we have to by law as an example for a court case.
